Dr. Martin Tisdall is a consultant paediatric neurosurgeon at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). He has worked at GOSH since 2013 and he specialises in paediatric epilepsy surgery and traumatic brain injuries.
Dr. Tisdall qualified from UCLH medical school in 2000 and studied neurosurgery in London. He was awarded his MD from the University of London in 2009 and completed his neurosurgical training in 2013. He has completed fellowships in paediatric neurosurgery at GOSH and Sick Kids, Toronto, and in neurocritical care at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
Dr. Tisdall is the clinic lead for Paediatric epilepsy surgery, as well as the lead for Traumatic brain injury, he is also specialized in cerebral monitoring techniques.
