Dr. Zhihong Liu started his clinical work at the Department of Orthopedics, Ruijin Hospital in August 1991. He worked as a foreign resident and received systematic training in the artificial joint surgery at Cochin Hospital, Paris, France from November 1995 to October 1996. He has also studied the technique of artificial hip and knee replacement in many of their famous hospitals in Australia and Canada. He has published over 20 academic papers.
He has rich experience in hip and knee surgery, including hip and knee osteoarthritis, avascular necrosis, hip dysplasia, and periarticular malformation. He has over 20 years' experience in independently performing hip and knee replacement as well as revision surgeries. He has unique experience in complex hip and knee replacement, minimally invasive hip replacement, hip surface replacement, unicompartmental knee arthroplasty, revision of prosthesis loosening after hip and knee replacement, infection treatment after hip and knee replacement.
