Ruijin Hospital was established in 1907, formerly known as Guangci Hospital. It is a large-scale Grade A Tertiary comprehensive hospital integrated with clinical, teaching and research components. The hospital was the first to equip the innovative PET-MR, the sixth-generation head gamma knife, the second-generation Da Vinci surgical robot system, 360 magnetoencephalography, intraoperative radiotherapy system and PET-CT for small animals. In addition, Ruijin Hospital has undertaken the research and development of China's first self-developed proton therapy equipment, it will become the leading modern proton therapy center with completely independent intellectual property rights in China after its completion.
